Company ProfileTheken Spine, LLC founded in 1998 designs, develops, manufactures and distributes a full range of spinal fixation products. Theken Spine markets its products through a national network of independent distributors. “Our design philosophy is to develop systems with fewer parts and fewer steps. We believe this benefits the surgeon and the patient. By following this philosophy our systems may, reduce OR time and decrease the amount of implants required to perform the same technique as other competitive systems.”—Randy Theken, Founder Theken Spine is able to accomplish this through: Technologically Advanced R&D FacilityThree-dimensional (3D) CAD modeling systems, 3D reconstructive and finite element analysis (FEA) software, computer numerical control (CNC) machining centers and servo hydraulic mechanical testing machines is a sample of the technology used by Theken Spine to rapidly move products from conception to the market. Spinal specialists & Understanding the needs of the surgeonTheken’s employees are experts in spine. Many of our engineers, sales and marketing associates have been in the spine industry for their entire careers. In addition, we understand the importance of surgeons active participation in product development efforts. We do not develop a product and then send it to the surgeons for final review. We work directly with surgeons from product inception through the life of the product.
